He said he didn’t know I was an "Olosho,” not just any Olosho o. A cheap one that charges 5,000 per night, and I will stay till the next morning o. Like some vendors doing sales would say “I no know money .". But I wasn't that cheap. Gboaye stared at me for few seconds before he said his parting speech as he stared straight into my eyes. “Ife, I loved you, but you chose to throw everything into the gutter... I thought you were mine”. I nearly burst out into laughter. “Oshe lover boy! Na mumu Dey love for 21st century o". I said in my head. Did he think we were in the 90's where love birds will be lost in each others gaze, chasing each other under the big mango tree after which they would settle for the yellow juicy fruit the tree produced as they fed themselves?. Story for the gods.

But anyway, I’ll miss him and his ice cream.

And I'm sad he is gone before you all got to meet him.

So I’ll probably cry myself to sleep.
